Developed from the fairy tale of the same name by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, ‘The Little Mermaid’ play invites children to a beautiful ocean world with popular characters: the little mermaid, King Triton, the red Jamaican crab Sebastian, and sea witch Morgana.
Meanwhile, ‘The Joy of Chickens’ tells the stories of a group of chickens who unite to overcome their difficulties. The last play, ‘Kitchen Class’ features the confrontations between a brave little cat and the sly rats in the kitchen.
In a same effort to bring joy to children during summer, the Star Galaxy Theatre has launched a theatre adaption of Peter and the Wolf – a “symphonic fairy tale for children” by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
Choreographed by Meritorious Artist Tran Ly Ly and directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Hong Phong, the act provides a lesson of courage and solidarity, while helping children to learn more about symphonies.
Also on the occasion, the Vietnam Central Circus showcased a new show combining a wide range of circus acts and comedy, bringing children to the world of their childhood friends including Doraemon, Panda Bear, and the Power Rangers, among others.
