The Western Connection – Lifestyle and News on VTV9

The program delivers the latest national and international events as well as news features on history, lifestyle and gastronomy of the region.

“This news program is the joint efforts by staff of VTV Can Tho and VTV24”, said Ngoc Quan, producer of the Western Connection.

Lasting 30 minutes, the program has been promoted on different media platforms such as facebook, youtube and VTV website. The first Western connection was aired on January 1^st, 2017 at 11:00 on VTV9.

“Through researching, we realize that the people from the western provinces have different habits, different tastes and styles compared to the people from Ho Chi Minh city. That’s the reason why we make this program tailored for them”, said Ngoc Quan.
