Le Quang Duy Khoa, a contestant in the 25th Road to Olympia Mount Final, is the school’s eighth student to reach this prestigious stage, once again affirming Quoc Hoc Hue’s leading position on the map of academic excellence.
Previous contestants, such as Nguyen Thai Bao, Nguyen Manh Tan, Ho Ngoc Han, Thai Ngoc Huy, Ho Dac Thanh Chuong, Nguyen Minh Triet, and Vo Quang Phu Duc, made a deep impression on viewers with their broad knowledge, calm composure, and confidence throughout their journeys on the Road to Olympia Mount.
Le Quang Duy Khoa's victory in this 25th season gives Quoc Hoc Hue the chance not only to extend its three-year streak of live locations (Seasons 23, 24, 25) but also to aim for the grand laurel wreath in the Road to Olympia Mount finale.
Located in the ancient capital of Hue, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted was founded on October 23, 1896, by the patriotic Emperor Thanh Thai by royal decree. Over the course of more than a century of development, the school has become a symbol of scholarship and patriotism. Generations of teachers and students have contributed their knowledge and dedication to the nation’s growth, with manyalumni becoming Party and State leaders, scientists, cultural figures, and renowned educators.
The school is also a national historical site, part of the system of memorials dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh and his family in Thua Thien Hue. In addition to President Ho Chi Minh, many other prominent revolutionaries and cultural icons once studied here, including General Vo Nguyen Giap, Party General Secretaries Tran Phu and Ha Huy Tap, and poets To Huu, Xuan Dieu, and Huy Can.
To date, the school has nurtured thousands of provincial and national award winners, many of whom have earned international and regional medals in five major Olympiad subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Informatics. Each year, numerous students become valedictorians and salutatorians at top universities, while others earn scholarships from prestigious institutions around the world.
Among the school’s extracurricular highlights is “Red Laurel”, an intellectual competition inspired by Road to Olympia Mount, jointly organized by the school and its alumni network. Over the past five years, most of the school’s Olympia contestants have emerged from this platform. The “Red Laurel” has gained attention not only among Quoc Hoc students but also among peers from other high schools across Thua Thien Hue, fostering a culture of learning, exchange, and academic enthusiasm, the very essence of what Quoc Hoc Hue stands for.
The Grand Finale of Road to Olympia Mount will be broadcast live at 8:30 AM on October 26, 2025, on VTV3 and VTV Online. Please stay tuned!
