The fourth quarterly match brought together five talented contestants, Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted), Nguyen Vinh Trong (Tien Giang High School for the Gifted, Dong Thap), Nguyen Bach Hiep (Son Tay High School for the Gifted, Hanoi), Le Duc Minh (Foreign Language Specialized School, VNU Hanoi) and Pham Le Minh (High School for the Gifted, Hanoi National University of Education). For the first time, the stage featured five contestants, creating an atmosphere charged with intensity and excitement.

Bao Khanh leads in the Warm-up Round.
In the tense Quarter 4 match featuring five contestants, the competition was fierce from the Warm-up Round onward. All participants started confidently. Bao Khanh and Bach Hiep both earned 40 points, while Vinh Trong and Duc Minh stood at 20 points each, and Le Minh achieved 30 points.
In the General Warm-up round, the schoolboy from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted maintained steady performance and took the lead with 65 points, followed by Le Minh (45 points), Bach Hiep (40 points), Vinh Trong (35 points), and Duc Minh (20 points).
A Split-Second Breakthrough in the Overcome Obstacle Round - Bao Khanh Extends His Lead
The Overcome Obstacle round brought thrilling drama. In the final seconds of a question, Tran Bui Bao Khanh took a bold risk by ringing the bell and answering “Yen Tu” to the question, “In which province is the special national relic Dinh Tra Co is located today?” His correct answer propelled him to 115 points, securing him first place.
At the end of the round, the scores stood as follows: Bao Khanh 115 points, Le Minh 65 points, Bach Hiep 60 points, Vinh Trong 55 points, and Duc Minh 30 points.
A Close Race After the Speed-up Round
The new scoring scale (40 - 30 - 20 - 15 – 10) in the Speed-Up round made the competition even more intense. Le Duc Minh staged a surprising comeback by answering the first two questions fastest, thereby narrowing the gap with the leaders.
In the final question, Duc Minh once again showed his quick reflexes, earning the full 40 points. The race tightened dramatically, with the scores standing at Bao Khanh: 190, Bach Hiep: 165, Duc Minh: 150, Le Minh: 135, and Vinh Trong: 95.
A Dramatic Finish
Entering the decisive Finishing Round, Tran Bui Bao Khanh selected the 20-30-20 package. He missed the first 20-point question, giving Bach Hiep the opportunity to catch up. Bao Khanh chose not to use his Star of Hope for the next question, and played it safe, correctly answering the 30-point question to regain control with 200 points and hold his lead firmly. Though he missed the final question, Hiep couldn’t capitalize, leaving Bao Khanh securely on top.
Nguyen Bach Hiep then opted for the 20-20-20 package. He got off to a shaky start, losing 20 points to Le Minh and a further 20 to Bao Khanh. However, he answered the final question correctly with the help of his Star of Hope, lifting his total to 175 points and keeping his hopes of a top finish alive.
Next came Pham Le Minh, who was enthusiastically cheered on by the audience. He chose 30-20-30, and his confident English response earned him the full 30 points. Maintaining his momentum, he scored again in the following two questions, closing the round with 225 points. The stunning performance that momentarily pushed him to the top of the leaderboard, putting pressure on the remaining contestants.
Le Duc Minh selected the 20-30-20 package but he struggled with the first two questions and didn’t score any points. He place his Star of Hope on the final one andhe gave it his all but still lost points to Bao Khanh, ending with 130 points and receiving encouraging applause from the audience.
The final contestant, Nguyen Vinh Trong, boldly chose the 90-point package. He lost the first question to Bach Hiep and the second to Bao Khanh but redeemed himself with a correct final answer, using his Star of Hope, finishing with 95 points.
When the host announced the results, the studio erupted in applause. Tran Bui Bao Khanh remained composed and triumphed with 270 points, securing the Quarter 4 Laurel Wreath. Pham Le Minh followed with 225 points, Nguyen Bach Hiep earned 205 points, Le Duc Minh ended with 130, and Nguyen Vinh Trong closed at 95 points.
Bao Khanh’s victory concluded a thrilling quarter-final and set the stage for the much-anticipated Grand Finale, where the four outstanding contestants of Season 25 will continue their journey to conquer the summit of knowledge.
The Grand Finale of the Road to Olympia Mount will take place on Sunday morning, October 26, 2025, at the Vietnam Television Studio and four live broadcast locations, airing live on VTV3.
