The Rising Era – A New Show on VTV1

To realize General Secretary To Lam’s vision for a new era — the rising era of the Vietnamese nation — and to spread the spirit of the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, the Department of News and Current Affairs launches a new program titled The Rising Era. Across 12 episodes, the show will address pressing issues related to science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Vietnam and worldwide.

The Rising Era is a political talk show presented in a modern, dynamic format, blending reportage with vivid interactive  3D   graphics to authentically convey the latest stories in science and technology in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The show also demonstrates the department’s commitment to accompanying the nation in its journey toward digital transformation.

The program will be hosted by experienced editors Huy Hoang and Hoai Luong from the Department of News and Current Affairs. Speaking about the program, editor Hoai Luong said: “Our entire team is fully aware that this show is our way of contributing to the dissemination of the spirit of Resolution 57 from the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. The biggest challenge lies in how to translatethese vast, high-level ideas into concrete examples, relatable stories, so that  audiences can see themselves in them, to realize the need for digital literacy in order not to be left behind. That’s why we’ve tried to fully use the language of television to tell these stories in the most understandable way possible”.

According to journalist Kieu Trinh from the Department of News and Current Affairs, the digital transformation movement has permeated every corner of society, requiring each citizen to keep learning. Once people can take charge and master science and technology, they can significantly contribute to their personal lives and the overall development of the country. This is also one of the key messages the team wants to convey  through The Rising Era.

 The Rising Era will air at 8:10 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month on VTV1. Stay tuned!
