The week 3, month 2, quarter 4 episode of Road to Olympia Mount 2024 concluded with Quynh Huong, a contestant from Da Phuc High School in Hanoi, emerging victorious. Reflecting on her experience after the broadcast, Quynh Huong expressed that her victory exceeded her initial expectations.
"I was just hoping to win the second prize and score higher than the highest scoring runner-up," saidQuynh Huong stated.
Quynh Huong admitted that her performance in the warm-up round resulted in a lower score than she had anticipated. During the Speed-up round, she attributed her top score to luck. However, her success was not merely a result of good fortune. Evidence of this lies in her correct answers to two questions, each worth 40 points.
"I didn't guess any of the answers in the Speed-up round, but I needed more time to think about the fourth question", Quynh Huong revealed.
One of the factors contributing to the excitement of this week’s episode of Road to Olympia Mount was the performance of Tuong Bach. He was the fastest to respond in the Obstacle Course round, buzzing in as soon as the first hint was revealed. Tuong Bach then went on to win that round, putting him in the lead.
In the Final Sprint round, Tuong Bach surprised many by going all-in, choosing a package of three 30-point questions and the star of hope. He explained that this was his only chance to advance further in the competition.
"My emotions throughout the competition were like a roller coaster, sometimes up, sometimes down. When up, it was slow, but when down, it was like a freefall," Tuong Bach shared. In the end, he was awarded the title of "The Most Enthusiastic Contestant of Road to Olympia Mount 2024".
