Results of the 2023-2025 Term

In the context of implementing Resolution 60-NQ/TW on streamlining organizational structures, the VTV Trade Union continued to uphold its role as a strong supporter of employees, helping to stabilize morale and strengthen internal solidarity. The Trade Union actively participated in councils related to  workers’ rights and interests, such as the Salary Council and the Emulation, Commendation, and Discipline Council. It coordinated the development of labor evaluation regulations and internal spending regulations, and promoted the application of digital signatures in management and operations.

Each year, the Trade Union coordinated the organization of the Employees’ Conference across all units; consolidated the People’s Inspection Board; and addressed workers' petitions in a transparent and public manner.

Caring for the welfare of union members remained a key focus. Through the VTV Compassion program, more than VND 1.3 billion was provided in support, including VND 257 million for 155 cases of serious illness and over VND 1 billion for retired staff. The Vietnam Public Employees Trade Union also supported more than 130 members suffering from critical diseases. Cultural and sports activities remained vibrant highlights, including  VTV sports tournaments, singing festivals, VTV Grace contests, and food fairs. In 2025, nearly 4,000 staff members   watched the film Red Rain at CGV cinemas  thanks to the trade union. However, the union still faced limitations  during the term,  such as many union officials working part time and having limited time for union activities,  and not all units at VTV participating enthusiastically in union activities.

For the new term, the VTV Trade Union set the goal of strongly renewing the content and methods of operation; enhancing its representative role and care for members; and contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 12th VTV Party Congress. Key tasks include strengthening political and ideological education, promoting emulation movements, improving the working environment, developing union membership, enhancing the capacity of union officials, caring for female workers, accelerating digital transformation, and strengthening inspection and supervision.
