Located in the central north of Vietnam, Thanh Hoa province has many tourism advantages. In the first 8 months of the year, Thanh Hoa has become a destination for more than 4 million visitors, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year, and the highest level to date.

Sam Son plays a key role in promoting the province's potential for National Tourism Year 2015. The locality aims to welcome 3.5 million tourists this year, generating 2 trillion VND (95 million USD). In order to realise these goals, the town has undertaken great efforts to improve the quality of its services and infrastructure.

Tran Quoc Thang, Hanoi Tourist said: The prices are reasonable and the sellers don't overcharge us.

Mr Trinh Huy Trieu Chairman of Sam Son Town People's Committee, Thanh Hoa Prov. said: We have established a control team to ensure safety for tourists.

In the first 8 months of 2015, Sam Son tourism complex has welcomed more than 3 million arrivals. Some destinations, such as Lam Kinh, Ho dynasty citadel, and Cam Luong fish stream have recorded a great number of visitors.

From now until 2020, we will eliminate our current way of doing business, which depends on the season. We'll mobilise all sources of investment in the locality to develop tourism.

In 2015, Thanh Hoa aims to welcome 7.5 million tourist arrivals and achieve a revenue of 3500 billion VND (more than 155 million USD). With the advantage of the natural landscape, as well as support from local authorities, Thanh Hoa tourism is being promoted well among domestic and international tourists alike.
