Textile firms link-up to improve competitiveness

There are 5,000 enterprises in the garment and textile industry in Vietnam. However, not many enterprises can meet large orders from abroad. With increasing global economic integration nearing, the need to improve the strength of domestic enterprises is becoming increasingly urgent.

7 enterprises in the chain have full orders from now until April 2016, while two more garment and textile enterprises are considering joining the chain. This form of collaboration is providing the foundation for the establishment of the Thai Nguyen Garment and Textile Association.
