VTV.vn - The textile industry was expected to see the biggest benefit from the Comprehensive Partnership and Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

However, the number of orders many companies received in the first half of this year only accounts for 70% of that of last year. In addition, Vietnamese textile and garment industry only gained a 3-4% of market shares in CPTPP countries such as Canada and Australia.

According to experts, Vietnam's textile industry can still benefit from the CPTPP, but they need to find the right supply of raw materials. Vietnam's textile value chains are also being finalized thanks to continuous inflows of FDI, focusing on yarn and fabric production.
