Tariffs on imported H-Beam steel considered

The Ministry will assess the request and make a final decision within 45 days. As part of the assessment, distributors and manufacturers of the same product must provide information regarding their profile, production scale and the volume of H-beam steel produced in recent years. The Ministry is also seeking their opinions towards the request. The deadline for submission will be August 2nd. Many experts believe this is a necessary move to protect the domestic industry.
