The ministers will exchange issues discussed at the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Vientiane in February and seek ways to increase ASEAN connectivity, especially the implementation of the ASEAN Political-Security Community Blueprint 2025.
They will talk about the work of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights and preparations for relevant meetings such as the Southeast Asian nuclear-weapon-free zone conference, the sixth East Asia Summit (EAS) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, and the 23rd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF).
The ASEAN foreign ministers are due to meet with their extra-bloc partners to evaluate and map out cooperation orientations in the coming time.
