VTV.vn - Students from the first grade to the sixth grade in Hanoi’s 12 urban districts will return to school starting from February 21, according to a decision by the municipal government.

But classes may only take place in either the morning or the afternoon, while online classes remain a must in areas with a high risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Teachers who have not been fully vaccinated are not allowed to give direct classes and may only teach classes online.

Schools are required to take measures in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, the Hanoi People’s Committee and the education sector to ensure safety against COVID-19.

Those in the abovementioned grades in rural districts have already been attending classes at school since February 10.

Nursery schools will remain closed until further notice.
