Strict penalties proposed for canceled, delayed flights

VTV.vn - The Ministry of Transport has asked the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to take more drastic measures to ensure aviation security and prevent congestions and delayed and canceled flights during the upcoming Tet Holiday.

It is being proposed that airlines that delay or cancel flights will receive stricter penalties. The Ministry of Transport also asked other transport services to have plans for meeting rising transportation demands during the holidays. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has recently put thirty-two air planes into operation, increasing the number of planes to 180 during the Tet Holiday.
