Strengthening coordination to boost wildlife industry

It was organized by the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the USAID project.

According to the delegates, wildlife is becoming a high growth industry. Vietnam's wildlife products are exported to 44 countries around the world but wildlife is being managed by many different agencies and is not strictly controlled.

Many delegates said that there should be an inter-agency coordination mechanism in management that clearly defines the responsibilities of each agency.
