Strengthened economic ties with Italy

The event showed the efforts to turn commitments made by the two countries' leaders into increased co-operation in the energy, infrastructure and transport, and machinery sectors. As of September 2017, Italy ranked 31st among 126 nations and territories investing in Vietnam, with 82 investment projects worth more than $600 million. The event will last for three days and conclude on November 29 in Ho Chi Minh City.
