Strawberry farm tour attracts tourists

An hour doesn’t seem enough for tourists to enjoy all excitement of a strawberry farm. Many people are keen to capture their moments on camera.

Biofresh – one of the top strawberry producers in Da Lat, has successfully applied new eco-friendly technology. The two-hectare farm produces about 100 kilos of strawberries a day. Those who visit the farms can directly observe the farming process. Some visitors buy up to 10 kilos of strawberries when leaving.

Strawberries aren’t any more expensive than those found in any market. Da Lat continues to develop these farms as a way to promote agricultural products despite being victims of their own success due to overcrowding.

There are 7 tonnes of Da Lat strawberries offered on the market per day and the strawberry farm tour is part of the province’s efforts to promote both local agricultural products and tourism.
