Storm Maon floods many streets in Hai Phong

Hải An, Hồng Bàng, Lê Chân, Ngô Quyền, Kiến An districts were the most heavily flooded. Some roads have suffered damage and landslides.

By 8am on August 26th, the roads had been cleared and traffic was flowing again. The cable car and entertainment areas of the city are now also operating normally. Thirty-two thousand hectares of rice and other crops in the Hai Phong area have survived the torrential rain relatively unscathed.
