Stock market expected to grow well in 2018

At the first session of the year, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung reiterated that the Party and the State are determined to raise the scale and quality of the stock market.

The Ministry expects to propose a draft law on the stock market, work with relevant agencies to ensure transparency and facilitate the merging of the two stock exchanges.

64 state-owned enterprises are planned to be equitised in 2018, in order to attract more capital to the stock market from international markets.
