VTV.vn - Ever since he was a young H'Mong boy, Sung A Di has relentlessly pursued his dreams.

Born in 1995, Sung A Di is the second son in a H'Mong farming family of four. From a young age, Di suffered from a congenital pituitary disorder, which prevented his body from developing normally. By the time he was in  12th grade, Di was only 90 cm tall, the height of an average 4-year-old. His home is near the center of Ho Nhi Pa, a small village in a valley surrounded by towering mountains. For Di, his dreams were as high as the mountains, and overcoming his destiny was even more harder than climbing the peaks.

In grade 4, Di realized that he was not going to get any taller. In his difficult family situation, he understood early on that only by studying could he hope for a better future. Di began living independently from grade 6, managing all his daily activities on his own while attending a boarding school. His physical condition made everyday life difficult and also posed challenges to his studies and social life. Looking back on his school days, Di still remembers the teasing from classmates and his own feelings of insecurity.

In high school, Di was introduced to computer science and gradually developed a passion for information technology. Starting a new journey at a new school, Di worked hard to push his boundaries and become  more confident and outgoing. Throughout high school, he was known as a polite, serious student. After graduating from  high school, Di dreamed of pursuing higher education to secure a stable job and support his family. He was eventually accepted into Tay Bac University in Son La, fulfilling his dream of studying and working in the IT field.

In college, A Di had to save every penny to get by. The "tiny" young man adapted to student life in the dormitory, living on simple meals that cost just 10000 to 15000 VND. After graduation, Di found a job in a tourism company and was lucky enough to receive the Vu A Dinh scholarship, which allowed him to continue his IT studies in Hanoi.

No longer the shy H'Mong boy, Sung A Di's years in the capital have transformed him into a confident , socially  active young man. Now, Di has a steady job, can support himself, and even sends money home to his family. One of the few people from Ho Nhi Pa to graduate from high school, Di has achieved his dream of "conquering the mountain" through sheer determination. The gift from The Station of Love will give him the strength to pursue even greater dreams in the future.
