VTV.vn - By the end of 2017, 68 state-owned enterprises had their equitisation plans approved with total state capital worth more than 7.02 billion US dollars, 6.34 times higher than that of 2016.

From these developments, the government expects that 2018 will be the peak year for equitisation of state-owned enterprises - SOEs - and state capital divestment. There will be a series of large SOE IPOs in the first quarter, attracting the attention of many investors. The State Capital Management Committee will also be established in 2018. These will be new opportunities to accelerate the equitisation of state-owned enterprises. At the same time, the government will also require the enterprises to associate equitisation with listing on the stock market. The process will be put under the monitor of the Ministry of Finance.
