State finances tighten up management

The Budget Law was enacted in order to curb this situation. However, the deficit remains a problem, and the management of state finances needs tightening. According to the Ministry of Finance, economic growth in the first half of 2016 was slower than the same period last year. The public debt to GDP ratio is at risk of surpassing the limit allowed by the national assembly. Thus, strengthening finance management, and particularly cutting down on overspending, is more urgent than ever.
