Spring flower festival celebrating Lunar New Year in HCMC

This is the seventh consecutive year the festival has been held to serve local demands for shopping and enjoying ornamental trees and flowers. The number of farming households joining the Spring Flower Festival has nearly doubled thanks to the increasing attractiveness of the event.

Farming households from surrounding districts of HCMC and neighboring provinces have brought with them various unique plants and flowers of all kinds. They cover four km along Bến Bình Đông canal bank and Tạ Quang Bửu Street.

The festival location reflects the characteristics of waterways in southern Vietnam. A transport team was established to serve shopping demands. The festival will also feature singing, dancing performances, and photo contests.
