Worldwide, an estimated 1.5 million children are orphaned by COVID-19. In Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City alone, there are more than 1,500 children whose parents died of the pandemic. The pain of losing their loved ones certainly leave wounds on the soul of a child that are difficult to heal.
