Directed by the Central Commission for r Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, and produced by Vietnam Television in collaboration with the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Guard Command of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the program honors the image of President Ho Chi Minh as a great revolutionary teacher, a national liberation hero, and a distinguished cultural figure of Vietnam.
The event aims to inspire patriotism and revolutionary ideals among all sectors of society, especially the youth, while promoting the ideology, morality, and lifestyle of President Ho Chi Minh. It also aims to foster national solidarity and mobilizing internal strength for national development and international integration.
With a creative fusion of historical footage, dramatized scenes, and modern musical performances, the program promises moving and proud moments, stirring strong emotional resonance among millions of Vietnamese.
Special Art Program “Nguoi la Ho Chi Minh”
The program is structured as a three-part narrative, seamlessly unfolding the life and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. The first part, titled “Nguyen Sinh Cung – Nguyen Tat Thanh”, reflects on the deep-rooted national values that shaped his early character and laid the foundation for his lifelong dedication to the country. The second part, “Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh”, recounts his journey across continents in search of national salvation, his involvement in international revolutionary movements, the founding of the Communist Party, and the extraordinary achievements of the Vietnamese revolution from 1930 to 1975, extending into the era of renewal, global integration, and development—an era proudly that bears his name. The final part, “Vietnam! The Era of Rising”, affirms that Ho Chi Minh’s name has become a spiritual embodiment of the nation, symbolically inscribing the words “Vietnam – Independence, Freedom, Happiness” on the world map.
The program features meticulously choreographed performances that blend traditional and modern art forms with cutting-edge 3D mapping technology, including music, dance, and dramatic reenactments. Highlights include: Dem nghe hat do dua nho Bac (An Thuyen), Dau chan phia truoc (Pham Minh Tuan), Mashup: La co Dang – Dang la cuoc song cua toi (Van An, Nguyen Duc Toan)
The stage will also recreate the warm and inspiring image of President Ho Chi Minh with children.
The event features notable artists such as Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi Sao Mai, Ha Quynh Nhu, and performers from the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater. The show will be hosted by by MC Le Anh and MC My Lan.
The program Nguoi La Ho Chi Minh will broadcast live at 8:10 PM on May 18 on VTV1.
