This week’s competition featured four contestants: Hoang Duc Trong (Lang Giang No.1 High School, Bac Giang), Dinh Quoc Tri (Hung Vuong Specialized High School, Binh Duong), Phan Anh Tung Duong (Thanh Thuy High School, Phu Tho), and Nguyen Minh Quan (Nguyen Du Specialized High School, Dak Lak). The match was part of Week 1, Month 2, Quarter 3 of the competition.
Quoc Tri delivered an excellent performance in the Individual Warm-Up round, earning 60 points. Tung Duong followed with 30 points, while Minh Quan and Duc Trong scored 10 points. After the team Warm-Up round, Quoc Tri maintained his lead with a remarkable 90 points, followed by Tung Duong, Minh Quan, and Duc Trong.
In the Overcome Obstacle round, Tung Duong rang the bell after the first clue, but an incorrect letter count resulted in an incorrect answer. Minh Quan later correctly identified the keyword after the second clue, significantly closing the gap with leader Quoc Tri.
The Speed-up round was intense as the leaderboard constantly shifted. Minh Quan answered multiple questions correctly with impressive speed, taking the lead. Quoc Tri closely followed behind with 180 points, while Duc Trong remained in last place with 35 points.
In the Finish round, Minh Quan, the first to go, chose a 20-20-20 point question package. He missed the first two questions but scored in the last one, ending with 200 points.
In the following turn, Quoc Tri selected a set of three 20-point questions for his Finishing round. The schoolboy from Binh Duong answered the first question correctly but failed to provide answers for the second and third. He temporarily stopped at 210 points.
Tung Duong chose a 20-30-20 point package but lost points to Quoc Tri, further solidifying the latter’s lead. The final contestant, Duc Trong, also selected the 20-30-20 package, but he only managed to answer one question correctly and finished with 55 points.
With a total of 240 points after four rounds, Dinh Quoc Tri claimed the coveted laurel wreath of this week's Road to Olympia Mount. Minh Quan finished second with 200 points.
