Son La Culture - Tourism Week opens in Hanoi

VTV.vn - The Son La Culture - Tourism Week 2018 in Hanoi opened at the King Ly Thai To flower garden in Hoan Kiem district, in the capital city on late October 19, aiming to introduce the cultural characteristics of the northern mountainous province to Hanoians and tourists.

Co-organised by the two locales’ authorities, the event also targets luring more travellers to Son La with unique tourism products imbued with indigenous ethnic identities.

The programme features various cultural and sporting activities, such as performances of the Pang A Ban festival by La Ha ethnic minorities, tradition Thai dances and a costumes show by the ethnic Thai, Mong, Dao and Kho Mu people, as well as traditional folk games.

Typical products, specialties and souvenir items of Son La tourism are also being introduced at the event, in addition to enacting traditional handicraft activities.

The week will last until October 21.
