Some 2,500 households evacuated in Thanh Hóa

All Poong villagers have been taken to the Tam Chung border station and other localities in Mường Lát district. 123 households with collapsed houses have been relocated. More than 200 families living in landslide-prone areas will be evacuated if the rain continues.

Local authorities, the police and military forces are on duty 24/7 to provide support to the people. Mường Lát district remains isolated while other remote communes have limited accessibility in Thanh Hóa Province.
