This statement was delivered by the central committee on orienting reform and developing enterprises, at a conference to summarise the results of SOE equitisation in the 2011-2015 period.
Until October, there were 175 SOEs shortlisted for restructuring, and it is estimated that about 210 enterprises will complete the equitisation process. For the 2011-2015 period, 459 SOEs have successfully completed equitisation, accounting for 90% of the restructuring plan. The remaining SOEs in the list will have to find plans to complete their restructuring by the end of this year in order to pave the way to implement the plan in the next five years.
