Socio-economic sub-committee works with Northern provinces

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, head of the sub-committee chaired the meeting. The socio-economic sub-committee listened to the reports of 13 localities regarding their achievements, weaknesses, and obstacles during their development.

The Prime Minister asked the sub-committee to collect opinions from localities and to complete documents that will be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress. He also stressed the importance and strategic positions of the 13 localities, especially Hanoi, Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh Province regarding the country's development. The PM urged agencies and localities to actively deal with social problems and improve people's lives, especially in rural and mountainous areas.
