Soc Trang rice named among top 3 globally

The ranking was announced at the 9^th World Rice Conference of The Rice Trader – held the past month in Macau, China. The ST24 rice variety is produced organically and was formed by a group of engineers from Soc Trang province. The rice variety has a production capacity of 8.5 tonnes per hectare. ST24 has become the 3^rd variety of rice from Vietnam to be recognized at the World Rice Conference.
