The ceremony was attended by Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung along with delegations of both countries.
The newly-constructed centre is a 17-storey office complex operated by Mapletree Investments, the property arm of Temasek Holdings, which is owned by the Singaporean government.
At the ceremony, both sides agreed that economic, trade and investment co-operation is always a highlight in the ties between the two countries. So far, Singaporean businesses registered nearly 40 billion US dollars in investment in Vietnam.
The Singaporean PM said the Mapletree Business Centre was concrete evidence of effective co-operation between the two countries.
