My Dream, a competition in short-film making for youngsters who are passionate about the 7thArt, produced by Vietnam Television Film Center (VCF) and the Division of Youth. A great opportunity for creative young individuals who have their own perspectives of life. Recently, the Organizers has announced the registration information of the contest.
1. Eligibility
Contestants can be individual or group who are eligible for the following criteria:
- Vietnamese citizen aged 15 – 30
- Each individual/group competes no more than 3 works
2. Submitted work requirements
- No limitation in film genres (musical, silent, comedy, horror, drama, animation, etc.)
- Duration: no more than 15 minutes each film (including introduction and credits)
- Lines and images do not violate the criteria and regulations of the Law on Cinema, Radio and Television or being contrary to Vietnamese fine customs and do not promote prohibited products in accordance with law
- Authors/producers is solely responsible for the copyrights of music, images; if using music/images from a third party, a consent paper must be obtained from the owner.
- Have never been shown on Vietnam Television system before.
- Must be produced during the period of 2017 until now.
- Formatted .mp4 (H264), HD minimum size (1280px x 720px), 25fps.
- Candidates must sign a commitment paper to own the work (photos/videos of behind the scenes is required to prove ownership).
- Group works must involve a mutual participation agreement by members of the group.
3. Submitting period
- Works must be submitted from April 8th2018 to July 14th2018

5. Evaluation process
- Submitted works will be uploaded on vtvgiaitri.vn and VTV Giaitri mobile application
- 03 submitted works with the highest votes from the audience (based on the total view, like and share rates) will appear in the livestream round with the jury on 8pm every Sunday.
- The work selected by the jury will receive a prize of 5 million VND and will be presented to the finale, expected to take place on late July of 2018 on VTV6. The jury will select the most impressive film to award the “Jury Award”
- All submitted films will be cumulatively counted to vie in the “Audience Poll”.
6. Prize
- 01 First Prize: 50 million VND (selected by the Jury)
- 01 Audience-poll Prize: 20 million VND
- Weekly prize: 05 million VND (in 12 weeks)
7. Other regulations
- Đài Truyền hình Việt Nam có quyền đăng tải các tác phẩm trên hệ thống các kênh VTV giải trí như: website vtvgiaitri.vn, fanpage VTV Giải trí, app VTV Giải trí,...
- Vietnam Television has the rights of using films, as well as images/videos submitted by contestants in marketing and propaganda campaigns about the competition on VTV channels.
- The Organizers hold no legal responsibilities about author rights dispute as well as other related rights.
- In the course of the contest, if the Organizers discovers any form of fraud, participants’ eligibility will be canceled
- Winning contestants will be invited to join the Award Ceremony (travels and accomodations paid by the Organizers)
- Contestants are responsible for submitted personal income tax for the prize in accordance with the regulations.
- Under any circumstances, the Organizers obtains final decisions.
