One injured crewmember was taken to a local general hospital in Thái Thuỵ District for emergency treatment.
Functional forces have retrieved the sunken vessel, Hà An 01, from the area where the accident occurred and hired divers to inspect its condition.
Previously on September 8, the anchored Hà An 01 was hit by strong waves in a storm while waiting to enter Diêm Điền Port with over 1,000 tonnes of diesel oil on board.
Sea water flooded the vessel and collapsed its electricity system, causing it to sink at midday the same day.
