Safety must be ensured as aviation industry grows

In response to this proposal, the Ministry of Transport stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between the number of airplanes and aviation ground infrastructure. The ultimate target is to ensure safety while maintaining the growth of domestic aviation.

Vietnamese airlines are set to reach a total of 340 airplanes by 2023. To ensure sufficient pilots are available and to avoid overcrowding in airports, increasing the number of airplanes must adhere to the state's plan.
