Residents in these areas are prone to the impact of climate change and extreme natural disasters. In order to provide coastal areas with a safe and sustainable solution, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam worked with ministries in a recent competition to design houses and sustainable communities resilient to climate change.
To provide coastal residents with safe housing resilient to climate change, the initiatives at this competition will be studied further to become real solutions.
