This is the first conference in a series of training activities to equip knowledge on this topic, coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Saigon Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Corporation (Sabeco).
Over the years, the innovative start-up ecosystem has developed very strongly. Vietnam had more than 3,000 successful start-ups, along with the presence of many international investors for innovative start-ups.
Particularly in rural areas, over the recent years, a reverse flow has appeared when many young people decide to leave the city and return to their hometown to start a business.
Concerned with indigenous resources, and the desire to get rich in their land, with knowledge and innovative thinking, many young start-up entrepreneurs have been contributing to the process of modernisation and digital transformation in agriculture.
At the first conference held in Lao Cai, many young people presented their start-up ideas and asked for direct advice from experts.
In addition, a start-up contest for young people has been held annually by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
The event aims to create opportunities for businesses in the agricultural sector to approach and promptly grasp young people's creative ideas and potential business models.
