After battling through intense matches, the SKH AUTOMATION team from Hung Yen University of Technical Education emerged victorious at the 2024 Vietnam Robocon Creative Robotics Contest, eventually achieving second place at the ABU Robocon 2024 international competition, held in Quang Ninh province.
One year after lifting the national championship trophy with his teammates, Pham Thanh Hai, the former captain of SKH AUTOMATION, has now returned to his alma mater—this time as a lecturer.
As an only child who lost his father at a young age, Pham Thanh Hai learned to be independent and responsible. He was determined to secure a stable career to support his mother and family.
Throughout his studies, Hai remained committed to academic excellence, harboring the hope that he could one day work at the university. That hope has now materialized.
After graduating from university in 2024 with an excellent academic record, Hai was retained by the school to train as a lecturer in electronic engineering, allowing him to continue passing on his passion and love for scientific research to future generations.
Currently, Hai mentors first-year students in areas such as programming and artificial intelligence (AI) while pursuing further studies in electronic engineering. He sees this field as foundational, as nearly all modern electronic devices are rooted in electronics and microchip technology.
Pham Thanh Hai is now mentoring the next generation of students in Robocon and scientific research clubs at the university. His passion for innovation, once nurtured by his mentors, is now being shared with younger students, ensuring that the flame of creativity and dedication continues to burn brightly at Hung Yen University of Technical Education for years to come.
