The Week 3 - February - Quarter 2 competition of Road to Olympia Mount was a battle among four contestants Pham Hoang Quan (Le Quy Don Specialized High School - Binh Dinh), Nguyen Ngoc Diep (Kien An High School - Hai Phong), Phan Anh Tu (Ba Vi High School - Ha Noi), and Bui Phuong Anh (Binh Lu High School - Lai Chau).
The first contestant to enter the Individual Warm Up round was Hoang Quan. He received 50 points after answering six questions, making it a solid start. Meanwhile, Phuong Anh had 30 points, Anh Tu 20 points, and Ngoc Diep 10 points.
The four contestants then moved on to the General Warm Up round. In the first two questions, Hoang Quan rang the bell quickly but failed to score, while the others managed to add points to their total. After this round, the scores changed as follows: Hoang Quan had 50 points, Ngoc Diep 30 points, Phuong Anh 35 points, and Anh Tu leading with 60 points.
The keyword for the Overcome Obstacle round was a six-letter word. In the first question, all four contestants answered correctly, earning 10 points each. After the second question was revealed, three contestants rang the bell to answer the obstacle. Hoang Quan was the fastest, answering “Bus”, which was also Anh Tu's answer. Phuong Anh, meanwhile, answered,“Cyclo”.
In the end, Hoang Quan was the only one to score, taking the lead with 110 points. The updated scores were Ngoc Diep 40 points, Anh Tu 70 points, and Phuong Anh 45 points.
The Speed-up round is considered the most competitive part of the game, where contestants can quickly close the gap or surge ahead with high scores. A mere second difference can completely change the outcome.
In the first question, Ngoc Diep was the fastest, earning 40 more points. However, Hoang Quan dominated this round with consistently quick and accurate answers.
By the end of the round, the scores changed significantly. Hoang Quan maintained his lead with 220 points, followed by Ngoc Diep with 140 points, Anh Tu with 120 points, and Phuong Anh with 85 points.
As the top competitor, Hoang Quan was the first to enter the Finish Round, choosing a set of three 20 point questions. Anh Tu rang the bell to answer Hoang Quan's third question but was unable to provide the right response.
Ngoc Diep also selected a set of three 20 point questions. She answered the first question correctly but lost 20 points to Hoang Quan on the second one, finishing the round with 160 points.
Anh Tu then faced a set of three 20 point questions, choosing the Hoping Star for the third question. This was an English question, and he successfully earned 40 points for his overall score.
Phuong Anh was the last to compete in the Finish Round, selecting a set of 20 - 30 - 20 points. Although she used the Hoping Star for the second question, she was unable to provide the correct answer.
Ultimately, the contestant who claimed the laurel wreath for this week and secured the final spot in the monthly competition was Hoang Quan. The final scores were Hoang Quan 215 points, Ngoc Diep 160 points, Anh Tu 150 points, and Phuong Anh 55 points.
