Road to Olympia Mount: Quang Tri Schoolgirl Advances Impressively to Quarter 3

The January monthly round of Quarter 3 on Road to Olympia Mount featured four contestants: Nguyen Hoang Hai (Hoang Van Thu Specialized High School – Hoa Binh), Le Ngoc Tran Chau (Le Quy Don Specialized High School – Quang Tri), Dang Quoc Bao (Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School – Nghe An), and Do Xuan Thai (Phan Dinh Phung High School – Hanoi).

Hoang Hai was the first to enter the Individual Warm-Up round  and scored 10 points. Tran Chau followed with 40 points. Quoc Bao impressed with 50 points, , and  Xuan Thai   30 .

The General Warm-Up round saw notable changes in the scoreboard: Hoang Hai remained at 10 points, Xuan Thai increased to 15, Tran Chau rose to 55, and Quoc Bao maintained his lead with 65 points.

The competition heated up in the Overcome Obstacle round with a 4-letter keyword. After three clues were revealed, Hoang Hai buzzed in first with the answer “Mang” (Network). However, it was Tran Chau who gave the correct answer “Wifi,” which was acknowledged by both Quoc Bao and Xuan Thai.

The Speed-up round proved once again decisive, dramatically shifting the rankings. While all four contestants answered the first question correctly, Xuan Thai earned the highest score thanks to his speed. He continued to dominate by being the only one to answer the second question correctly, earning a full 40 points.

A tough third question left all contestants without points. However, in the final question, which required speedy, Tran Chau delivered an impressive sprint with her correct answer “Dien Kinh Thien” (Kinh Thien Palace), which significantly widened  her lead.

In the  suspenseful and emotional final Finish round,  Tran Chau chose the 20-20-20 question package. Though she missed the first two questions, she answered the third correctly, securing a valuable 20 points.

Xuan Thai also chose a 20-point question set but ended with   105 points. Quoc Bao delivered a strong performance, scoring 30 points with his final question and star of hope, surging from 95 to 155 points. Hoang Hai concluded his Olympia journey with 20 points.

 Ultimately, the schoolgirl from Quang Tri emerged victorious and will advance to the Quarter 3 round. Will she be able to bring the live broadcast location back to her hometown? Stay tuned for the next episodes of Road to Olympia Mount.
