The first week of the March 2025 quarter of Road to Olympia Mount featured a competition among four contestants: Phung Manh Dung (Quang Oai High School - Hanoi), Hua Trung Hieu (Ly Nam De High School - Thai Nguyen), Mai Quang Dung (Vinh Linh High School - Quang Tri), and Nguyen Le Quang (Hoa Vang High School - Da Nang).
The first contestant to enter the Individual Warm-up round was Manh Dung, who earned 30 points after 6 questions. Meanwhile, Trung Hieu and Le Quang each scored 20 points. Quang Dung was the standout, scoring a perfect 60 points in the first questions.
The 12 questions of the General Warm-up round began. After 4 unanswered questions, Le Quang scored, speeding up the competition and making it more intense. After this round, the contestants' scores changed as follows: Trung Hieu 15 points, Le Quang 40 points, Quang Dung 60 points, and Manh Dung 70 points.
The keyword for today’s Overcome Obstacle Round was a 3-letter mystery. Unfortunately, no contestant was able to provide the correct answer to the first question. For the second question, Manh Dung, Quang Dung, and Le Quang all gave the same answer, earning an additional 10 points each.
After the first image was revealed, Quang Dung rang the bell and confidently answered “Star”. This was the correct answer, allowing the contestant from Quang Tri to temporarily take the lead.
The Speed-up round is considered highly competitive, as it can quickly change the score dynamics. With just one second separating the contestants, the results could vary widely.
A question about a folk game did not stump the contestants, but Quang Dung was the quickest to answer, earning another 40 points. In a logical reasoning question, the four contestants diverged with different answers, but Quang Dung was the only one to spot the pattern, earning points for himself.
At the end of the Speed-up round, the contestants' scores showed a significant gap: Quang Dung remained in the lead with 200 points, followed by Manh Dung with 120 points, Le Quang with 100 points, and Trung Hieu with 65 points.
As the leader, Quang Dung was the first to enter the Finish round. He chose the safe option with 3 questions worth 20 points each. In the first question, Le Quang answered correctly and earned 20 points from Quang Dung's score. After failing to answer the next two questions, Quang Dung scored on the final question. His only regret was not choosing the Hope Star.
Manh Dung also chose 3 questions worth 20 points each. Like Quang Dung, he failed to answer the first two questions but successfully answered the last one, which was abou Chemistry. Trung Hieu rang the bell and answered the second question correctly, earning points from Manh Dung.
Le Quang selected the 3-question 20-point option. After the Finish round, the contestant from Da Nang kept his score at 120 points.
Trung Hieu was the last to compete in the Finish round, choosing the 3-question 20-point option. Manh Dung added 20 points by correctly answering a Literature question, while Quang Dung lost 10 points on a Math question.
Thus, the winner of this week's crown is Quang Dung from Quang Tri, with a total of 200 points. The final scores for the contestants were: Quang Dung 200 points, Manh Dung 160 points, Trung Hieu 15 points, and Le Quang 120 points.
