The Week 2 - Month 3 - Quarter 1 competition featured four contestants: Vu Thanh Do (Tran Bien High School, Dong Nai); Vu Ha Thi (Le Hoan High School, Ha Nam); Pham Anh Tho (Nguyen Van Troi High School, Ha Tinh); and Sam Duc An (Natural Sciences Specialized High School, Hanoi).
At the end of the Warm-up Round, Ha Thi scored 30 points, Anh Tho scored 40 points, Duc An gained 30 points, and Thanh Do finished with 10 points. In the overall standings after this round, Anh Tho was in the lead, followed by Ha Thi, Duc An, and Thanh Do.
In the Overcome Obstacle Round, Duc An chose clue number 2. Ha Thi, Anh Tho, and Thanh Do all provided correct answers. However, Anh Tho from Ha Tinh displayed remarkable intuition, solving the puzzle as soon as the first piece was revealed. Her answer, Eye, was correct, bringing her score to 125 points.
This round offered plenty of opportunities for contestants to improve their standings. Duc An quickly closed the gap on Anh Tho, the current leader. At the end of the round, Ha Thi had 50 points, Thanh Do scored 90 points, Duc An earned 100 points, and Anh Tho was firmly in the lead with 165 points.
As the first contestant in the Finish Round, Anh Tho selected a set of three 20-point questions. She answered one of them correctly and finished her round with 185 points. Thanh Do followed with a set of one 30-point question and two 20-point questions. Unfortunately, he failed to answer any of the questions correctly and even lost points to Anh Tho, who further solidified her lead.
Duc An opted for a set of 20-, 30-, and 20-point questions. Despite choosing the Star of Hope for the second question, he failed to answer any of them correctlyand finished the round with 60 points. Ha Thi alsochose three 20-point questions but failed to make significant progress, finishing with 60 points as well.
With a total score of 205, Anh Tho claimed victory in this week’s episode of Road to Olympia Mount. Hailing from Ha Tinh, Anh Tho boasts an impressive academic record, including First Prize in the Provincial History Competition for Excellent Students and Third Prize in the District-Level English Competition for Excellent Students. Notably, this student has a passion for the game League of Legends. Although she is not a skilled player, she enjoys the game and regularly follows commentaries and analyses of matches.
