In the first week of March, Quarter IV of the 25th season of Road to Olympia Mount witnessed an intense competition among four contestants: Tran Anh Trung (Nguyen Duc Canh High School, Hung Yen), Duong Chi Thong (Tran Van Giau Specialized High School, Tay Ninh), Pham Le Minh (Hanoi National University of Education Specialized High School), and Huynh Ngoc Dang Khoa (Ben Tre Specialized High School, Vinh Long).
Right from the Warm-up round, Le Minh demonstrated quick thinking and confidence, taking the lead with 100 points. Following closely behind were Dang Khoa with 50 points, Chi Thong with 45, and Anh Trung with 30.
The Overcome Obstacle round featured a seven-letter keyword . The first clue was the questions: 'In the verse ‘Blue is deep above / For whom was this sorrow created?’ (The Lament of the Soldier’s Wife by Dang Tran Con, translated by Doan Thi Diem), which word is used metaphorically to mean ‘heaven, the Creator’?” Contestants Anh Trung, Chi Thong, and Le Minh all quickly earned 10 points by answering correctly: “Blue”.
As soon as the first image hint appeared, Chi Thong rang the bell without hesitation and answered correctly, identifying “Peace” as the keyword. His correct answer enabled the student from Tay Ninh to make a breakthrough, scoring 115 points. Le Minh followed closely behind with 110 points, while Dang Khoa remained at 50 and Anh Trung at 40.
The Speed-up round became the turning point as all four contestants pushed hard to improve their scores. After four questions, Le Minh proved dominant with 240 points, far ahead of his rivals: Dang Khoa with 160, Chi Thong with 155, and Anh Trung with 60.
In the decisive Finish round, Le Minh chose a set of three 20-point questions. With composure and accuracy, he correctly answered two out of three , raising his total to 280.
Dang Khoa also selected a 20-point set and cleverly used his Hope Star on the final question. The student from Vinh Long finished with 220 points after answering two questions correctly. Meanwhile, Anh Trung attempted to answer one question but was unsuccessful and lost points.
Chi Thong chose the 20-point set and placed his Hope Star on the last question. However, this risky strategy did not yield the expected outcome. He lost points on the first question, giving Le Minh a chance to extend his lead. Meanwhile Anh Trung scored on the final question. Ultimately, Chi Thong ended with 135 points.
The last contestant, Anh Trung, showed determination by choosing a set of three 30-point questions. Although he allowed Le Minh to score on the first, his Hope Star on the final question helped him regain some points. He finished with 100 points.
At the end of Week 1 in March of Quarter IV of Road to Olympia Mount Season 25, Pham Le Minh from Hanoi National University of Education Specialized High School was awarded the laurel wreath with an impressive 300 points. He also became the first contestant of March to advance to the monthly round.
With his breakthrough performance in the Finish round, Huynh Ngoc Dang Khoa (Ben Tre Specialized High School, Vinh Long) secured second place with 220 points. The other two contestants, Tran Anh Trung (Nguyen Duc Canh High School, Hung Yen) and Duong Chi Thong (Tran Van Giau Specialized High School, Tay Ninh), tied for third place with 100 and 135 points, respectively.
