The first monthly competition of Quarter 2 featured four contestants: Nguyen Trung Khanh (Thach That High School Hanoi), Nguyen Duy Anh (Chu Van An Specialized High School Hanoi), Vo Tan Phat (Phan Boi Chau High School Khanh Hoa), and Luu Duc Cuong (Kim Son A High School Ninh Binh).
In the Individual Warm-Up round, Duy Anh made an impressive start with 60 points, Trung Khanh had 50 points, Duc Cuong 40 points, and Tan Phat had yet to score. As the competition progressed to the team warm-up session, Duy Anh continued to dominate, increasing his score to 95 points, while Trung Khanh had 60 points, Duc Cuong 50 points, and Tan Phat 20 points.
The Overcome Obstacle round took a dramatic turn when Trung Khanh was forced to abandon the game early after giving the wrong answer regarding the hidden phrase. However, the first puzzle piece provided valuable clues for Duc Cuong and Tan Phat. In the end, Duc Cuong successfully guessed the correct answer and took the lead with 110 points.
The Speed-Up round, a crucial opportunity to boost scores, did not work in favor of Duc Cuong as he lost his lead. Instead, the remaining three contestants answered quickly and accurately, setting up an intense point chase. After this round, Trung Khanh and Tan Phat had 140 points, Duc Cuong had 150 points, and Duy Anh regained the lead with 165 points.
With the highest score, Duy Anh was the first to enter the Finish round. Despite only answering correctly 2 out of 3 questions correctly, he strategically gained extra points by ringing the bell to answer his opponents’ finish questions. He concluded the competition with 255 points to secure the victory wreath for this week’s Road to Olympia Mount.
Another standout in the Finish round was Trung Khanh, who closely trailed Duy Anh in the final moments. However, missing the last question cost him the chance to make a comeback. Meanwhile, Tan Phat and Duc Cuong struggled to capitalize on the Finish round, finishing with 100 points each.
