The Month 3 - Quarter III match featured four outstanding contestants: Tran Quang Hung (Vinh University High School for the Gifted, Nghe An), Nguyen Duc Minh (Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, Hanoi), Do Le Bao Quyen (Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted, An Giang), and Huynh Le Ngoc My (Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted, Da Nang). The contest would determine the final two spots in the Quarter III competition.
Minh and Bao Quyen had strong starts in the Warm-up round, both scoring 50 points. Ngoc My followed closely behind with 45 points, while Quang Hung collected 15 points.
The Overcome Obstacle round, featuring an eight-letter puzzle, quickly became highly competitive. Duc Minh was the only contestant to correctly answer the first clue.
When the first clue was revealed, Duc Minh rang in again with the correct answer. His convincing explanation of the clues enabled him to solve the puzzle well before most of the letters were uncovered.
The impressive performance propelled Duc Minh into the lead with 120 points, ahead of Bao Quyen at 50, Ngoc My at 45 and Quang Hung at 15.
The Speed-up round saw another intense battle. Duc Minh maintained his momentum, extending his lead to 230 points. Bao Quyen climbed to 120 points with a strong performance, while Ngoc My improved to 85. Quang Hung remained at 15 points heading into the decisive Finish round.
Competing first in the Finish round, Minh selected three 20-point questions. Although he failed to score on the first two, he answered the final question correctly, adding another 20 points and strengthening his lead.
Bao Quyen, who had previously staged a dramatic comeback in the weekly competition, also opted for three 20-point questions. However, she was unable to score on any of them. On her Hope Star question, Duc Minh successfully stole the points with the correct answer.
Ngoc My then chose a 20-30-30-point question package. After missing the opening question, she answered the English-language question correctly to earn 30 points. She then used her Hope Star on the final question and answered correctly, doubling the value to earn a crucial 60 points.
As the final contestant, Quang Hung also selected the same package. Despite his efforts, he was unable to produce a late comeback. On his Hope Star question, he failed to give the correct answer, allowing Ngoc My to capitalize on the opportunity and increase her score. Her result made her one of the two highest-scoring runners-up, sending her into a tie-break question for the final Quarter III berth.
At the end of the contest, Nguyen Duc Minh claimed the laurel wreath with 290 points. He was followed by Huynh Le Ngoc My with 80 points, Do Le Bao Quyen with 70 points, and Tran Quang Hung.
In the tiebreaker for the final Quarter III spot, Le Ngoc My faced Luong Minh Anh. After a tense head-to-head battle, Ngoc My emerged victorious, securing the last remaining place in the Quarter III of the 26th Road to Olympia Mount competition.
