The Quarter 2 match of Road to Olympia Mount featured four strong contenders: Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Tien Giang), Hoang Xuan Loc (Quoc Oai High School, Hanoi), Nguyen Duy Anh (Chu Van An Specialized High School, Hanoi), and Huynh Nguyen Anh Phuong (Ly Tu Trong Specialized High School, Can Tho). This decisive match determined the second satellite location for the 2025 season.
In the Individual Warm-Up round, Nhut Lam scored 30 points, Anh Phuong and Duy Anh each earned 50 points, while Xuan Loc followed with 40 points. During the Group Warm-Up round, Duy Anh maintained his lead by quickly answering questions, pushing his score to 100 points. He was followed by Xuan Loc (60 points), Anh Phuong (50 points), and Nhut Lam (40 points).
The Overcome Obstacle round saw a dramatic turnaround as the first puzzle piece was revealed and three contestants, Nhut Lam, Duy Anh, and Xuan Loc, immediately rang the bell. Nhut Lam was the fastest to provide provide the correct answerand took the lead with 110 points.
The Speed-Up round was a nail-biter as all four competitors continued to pget the right answers in record time, keeping the scores neck - and - neck. Duy Anh shone in the final questionand regained the lead.
In the Finish round, Duy Anh went first and chose three 20-point questions. He missed the first, but answered the next two correctly to finish with 235 points.
Nhut Lam, the second competitor, chose a 20-20-30-point question package. He correctly answered one question and ended his round with 200 points.
Xuan Loc chose 20-30-20 for his package but lost points on a History question to Duy Anh, who rose to 255 points. Although Xuan Loc selected a Star of Hope for his final question, he failed to score and lost another 30 points to Nhut Lam, bringing Nhut Lam’s score to 230. At this point, the duel between Duy Anh and Nhut Lam grew increasingly intense.
Last up was Anh Phuong, who opted for a bold 30-30-30-point set. Unfortunately, she lost two questions to Nhut Lam, enabling him to clinch a narrow and dramatic victory. With this result, the second national final satellite for Road to Olympia Mount will be hosted by Cai Be High School in Tien Giang Province.
