Rice export volume to surpass target

An association representative said that the rice export market has witnessed a surging demand from importers since May. Forecasts from experts have shown that in the year-end period of this year, Vietnam may export another three million tones of rice, tonesng the country’s rice export volume to some 5.7 million tones. This figure is expected to surpass the set target of five million tones.
