According to the department, the rhino horns, worth over VND6 billion or around 264,000USD, were discovered in the luggage of two passengers on a flight from Africa to Vietnam.
The two passengers hid the horns in their hand luggage, with household appliances and speakers. Custom officials of Tan Son Nhat Airport are coordinating with authorised agencies to further investigate the case.
