VTV.vn - People in Japan are dealing with the aftermath of Typhoon Hagibis. The death toll now stands at 53 as cleanup efforts are underway in many areas. In addition to the fatalities, 16 people are listed as missing.

More than 100 others were injured during the storm. Two Vietnamese crew were on a sunk Panama-registered cargo ship. Phạm Văn Trì, 33, was safely rescued and his health has already improved. Nguyễn Văn Trì, 41, is still missing and search operations are ongoing. The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan has asked the company to support Vietnamese labor in the settlement of related procedures and ensuring benefits for the workers.
