In Bình Định Province, on Sunday, rescue forces recovered 15 ships, boats, and canoes. In Phú Yên Province, 83 out of 117 sunken ships and boats were recovered.
In Thừa Thiên Huế Province, heavy rain that lasted many hours flooded more than 20,000 hectares of winter-spring rice fields, half of which are at risk of being completely lost.
In Quảng Binh Province, people are building dykes, blocking sluice gates and canals, and pumping water to save more than 4,000 hectares of affected rice crops.
